Suffield, Connecticut · Hayden Gibson
At Sunrise Park, there are campsites that used to have old picnic tables. There was a need to serve parkgoers. This project consisted of leading a team to install permanent picnic tables. The wood is pressure treated to protect the project for years to come. It is cemented into the ground and has 2 posts and a crossbeam, so dining flys and tarps can be affixed.

Eagle Scout fundraised, designed, and implemented a full wooden and concrete 7 obstacle Dog agility course. This course included two Jumps, a tunnel, an A frame, a tire jump, a dog walk, and weave poles. It is used as a community dog park and helps local dogs get access to mental stimulation to support their health and bond with their owners.

The project consisted of construction of a new boat rack and the restoration of another boat rack in disrepair. This was for a non-profit community rowing club that helped give access to people of all ages in the seacoast area to get into the sport of rowing and stay active and healthy. The boat racks were important for the club to help properly store boats and maintain their condition for longer use.

Plano, Illinois · Aidan Joschko
I led the construction of two Gaga Ball pits for my town. One of them was a stationary one at a local park with already limited recreational activity options. The other was a portable pit that the city could easily put up and tear down for various events, such as 4th of July, fundraiser they sponsored, Juneteenth, Music in the Parks, etc. The pits were both painted the city's color purple.

Stoughton, Massachusetts · Evan S.
Evan completed his Eagle Scout service project by restoring and installing a secure, weather-resistant pet supply donation box outside the Stoughton Animal Control office. After receiving a professionally constructed metal box donated by the Weymouth Heights Club, he organized its transportation, repainted it, added decals, and led members and adult volunteers from Troop 516 in preparing the site. The team leveled the ground, placed gravel around the installation area, and securely installed the box to create a permanent, accessible location for community donations.

Dallas, Texas · Patrick Kent
I spent several months designing and constructing a large steel stand to support two 55-gallon rain barrels and collect rainwater from a local church's gutter to use in the church's garden. The stand consists of 41 unique pieces of 1"x2"x3/16" rectangular steel tubing and was designed to support 918 pounds of water with a safety factor of nearly 14x. It was finished with several coats of latex-based outdoor paint to protect the steel from weather and corrosion. A large removable wooden facade hides the "ugly blue" barrels while allowing access for maintenance, and each barrel feeds a water line to a spigot on the front leg of the stand.

Simi Valley, California · Braxton Marx
For my Eagle Project, I installed ten posts with QR code plaques in the meditation garden at Simi Valley United Methodist Church. Each plaque links to meditation, religious, and mental health resources, giving visitors different ways to support their well being. My goal was to create a peaceful space where people can reflect, relax, and find some calm while also having easy access to helpful resources.
