EagleBase is an independent, community-built archive for discovering and preserving Eagle Scout service projects. It helps Scouts, families, units, beneficiaries, and communities share the impact of projects long after the work is complete.
Why it exists
One archive for thousands of local stories
Every Eagle Scout project begins with a local need. A Scout organizes volunteers, works with a beneficiary, solves problems, and leaves something meaningful behind. Yet many of those stories become difficult to find after a few years.
EagleBase brings those projects together in one searchable place. Visitors can explore projects by location, category, year, council, unit, or keyword and see how youth-led service has strengthened communities across the country.
The archive also gives current Scouts examples and inspiration while allowing past projects to remain part of their communities' history.
Protect privacy
The archive displays community-level locations rather than exact addresses. Submitters control how a Scout's name appears, and anyone can report a concern or request a correction or removal.
Review before publishing
Projects are not published automatically. Each submission enters a moderation queue so information, permissions, and photos can be reviewed before appearing publicly.
Keep access open
Browsing the project archive, directory, map, statistics, and informational pages does not require an account. Accounts are only needed to submit or manage project information.
How publishing works
Submit
A Scout, family member, unit leader, or beneficiary provides project details and confirms permission to publish.
Review
A moderator checks the submission for completeness, appropriate content, privacy, and publication permission.
Publish
Approved projects become searchable in the archive, directory, statistics, and map. Corrections can still be requested later.

EagleBase is an independent archive and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Scouting America. Names and project information remain the responsibility of their submitters, and published records may be corrected or removed when appropriate.
